🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On
- Primarily focusing on backend API test automation using Java
- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for backend services
- Collaborating with backend engineers and QA team members to ensure high-quality API functionality and performance
- Working within a fast-changing environment where priorities and tasks may shift
- Contributing to testing efforts across other areas when needed, including Android UI tests, iOS UI tests, or internal tooling
- Being flexible and open to learning and working with different technologies and components of the product
- Supporting continuous testing through CI/CD pipelines and ensuring stable test execution
- Helping improve testing processes, frameworks, and overall QA architecture
- 3+ years experience
- Core Java and OOP principles(Collections, Lambda expressions, Exception handling, Memory management)
- HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets, gRPC
- REST API
- API testing tools (Postman or similar)
- SOLID principles and design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Builder, etc)
- Layered test framework architecture (3-tier, 4/5-layer, MVC)
- KISS, DRY, YAGNI principles
- Test reporting (Allure, HTML reports, loggers, etc)
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Test automation place in SDLC, continuous testing
- Docker and cloud infra (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Python, JavaScript, or other languages
- BDD frameworks, performance testing (JMeter, Gatling)
- Mobile automation (Swift, Xcode, Kotlin, Espresso)
- Data testing (dbt, airflow, exceptions, etc)
- AI-powered testing tools and LLM-based automation
