SRE key responsibility is to facilitate operational support to internal application teams through direct interaction with cloud platforms and DevOps pipelines. They are tasked with keeping environments available, resilient and within capacity. They contribute to having the right level of observability, and they need to listen the DevOps teams to provide the inputs to platform engineers, who define processes, automation and objectives at a service level.
