Position Overview
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to support and evolve cloud-native infrastructure. You’ll work hands-on with AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient environments across all stages of development.
This role requires strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, cloud architecture, CI/CD automation, and modern DevOps practices. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build reliable pipelines, enforce security standards, optimize deployment workflows, and enhance platform observability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Terraform modules for AWS infrastructure.
- Manage multi-AZ VPC architectures, including subnets, routing, TGW, and security configurations.
- Implement, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Ensure compliance with security baselines and manage secrets via AWS Secrets Manager/KMS.
- Support and enhance Kubernetes (EKS) deployments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve infrastructure reliability and system performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align infrastructure with business and scalability needs.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise with AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, ELB, Route53, DocumentDB, EFS, ACM, KMS).
- Advanced Terraform — module design, maintenance, and reusable patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD using GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in VPC networking: subnets, routing, TGW, security groups, NACLs.
- Familiarity with container orchestration (EKS/Kubernetes).
- Scripting experience (Bash, Python) for automation.
- Experience working in agile, distributed teams.
Technical Expertise
Must-Have
- AWS core services: EC2, EKS, RDS, ELB, Route53, TGW, Secrets Manager, KMS.
- Terraform (advanced module creation, reusable IaC patterns).
- GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
- VPC design and multi-AZ networking.
- Kubernetes deployments and cluster operations (EKS).
- Security fundamentals: IAM, KMS, secret management, encryption.
- Infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting.
Nice-to-Have
- CloudWatch, Prometheus, or similar observability tools.
- Experience with FinTech security and compliance standards.
- Cost-optimization strategies for AWS.
- Multi-tenant infrastructure considerations.
- Exposure to DDD/BDD practices or Strangler pattern for modernization.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows.
