PLEASE NOTE:- This is NOT a Azure/AWS focused role, as they have a private cloud, you may get exposure to these, but they are not looking for people with strengths/a passion for these.
Description for the DevOps Engineer role:- This is a fantastic opportunity with a technology division of a global company. The role will involve working in a DevOps team in a fast-paced technology environment and requires a good understanding of Kubernetes and Linux administration. Ideally you should possess knowledge of virtualisation technologies, Ansible and networking principles. This will be joining their growing practise and will offer great opportunities for career growth.
The role can be fully remote or hybrid if you live in the Newcastle area and prefer it - You choose!
Experience required for the DevOps Engineer roles:-
- 2yrs+ commercial experience in an infrastructure / DevOps role
- Linux administration skills
- Good Kubernetes knowledge
- Ansible
- Scripting
Salary for the DevOps Engineer roles will be negotiable dependent on experience but expect £40,000 to £60,000 basic + benefits package depending on experience.
