š Who We Are
At Nimble, we design and build high-quality digital products that make peopleās lives easier. No fluff, no jargon, just smart, intuitive tools that solve real problems. Whether itās a new fintech platform, a healthcare dashboard, or an internal tool for a scale-up, we help companies get from idea to impact, fast. We're a tight-knit team of designers, developers, and strategists based in Ghent, working hybrid. Youāll spend half your days at our cosy office near the city centre, and half your days wherever you work best. As a Senior Product Designer, youāll shape how our products look, feel and work. Youāll combine user insight with design craft to create interfaces that are both elegant and effective. From first sketch to polished UI, you'll be hands-on and in the lead.
š¼ What Youāll Be Doing
Youāll:
- Exploring and communicating design concepts through sketches, user flows and wireframes, which serve as a foundation for you to build high-level prototypes. These are pretty much pixel-perfect designs, I.E. user interfaces for web applications.
- Being the person with the plan, keeping everyone on-message to ensure the proposed design fits user needs, business goals and long-term strategy.
- Validating design concepts by eliciting user feedback, measuring usability and considering both the state of the market and technical constraints.
- Iterating your design based on said user feedback. Understand how and when to prioritise user needs.
- Actively participating in team ceremonies, retrospectives, and client-facing moments.
š§ Who You Are
You are:
- Youāve got at least 3-5 years of relevant experience as a product designer.
- Mastery of UX design and design management. We aim to improve the quality standard of the experiences we create; help us define what great work looks like, and subsequently show us the way.
- Youāre fluent in English and Dutch.
- Feedback is what drives progress; thatās why you should be able to supply radical yet constructive feedback to your fellow designers.
- Sticking to the plan is crucial. Our process is our backbone, and we want to continuously refine and improve upon it; losing track of progress and process is detrimental to the outcome of any project.
š Whatās in It for You?
We believe in building a workplace where people can do great work and enjoy the ride. Hereās what we offer:
- š° Competitive salary
- āš” Hybrid setup, 3 days in our Ghent office, 2 days from home
- š§ Annual closure between Christmas & New Year, because rest fuels creativity
- š§ Mental health support, via a dedicated external partner
- š» Top-of-the-line gear, MacBook, monitor, the works
- š Yearly learning & research & development budget, books, courses, events, you name it
- āļø Annual team trip, have fun, brainstorm & think out of the box together
- š„ Private health insurance (Alan)
š Sounds Like You?
