Role: Product Designer

Salary: Up to £60,000

Location: Cardiff HQ – 1 day p/w

The Role

We are seeking a talented Product Designer to join our dynamic team. We’re looking for someone who can redefine the future of our industry, designing innovative products and services that not only disrupt the insurance landscape but empower the nations businesses to thrive and prosper.

Skills and Experience Required

• Adaptable and Flexible Approach
• Strong Research, Testing, and Experimentation Skills
• Advanced Visual and Interaction Design Skills, with a focus on Design Systems
• Custodian of the End-to-End Journey – encompassing the previous two points, you must be able to manage the full design lifecycle.
• Excellent Communication and Storytelling
• Desirable - Experience in Fintech, Insurtech, or Digital Services

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Design in a Cross-Functional Team: Be the primary product designer in a cross-functional team, working closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver digital products that address customer needs.
• Deeply Understand Customer Needs: Conduct and facilitate user research, such as customer interviews and usability testing, to gain a profound understanding of customer behaviours, needs, and pain points.
• Own the End-to-End Design Process: Manage all design deliverables throughout the product lifecycle, from user journey mapping to low-fi and high-fi UI designs.
• Drive Learning, Experimentation and a customer-centric culture: Drive a culture of learning, experimentation, and customer focus by designing and executing data-driven experiments that test assumptions, validate customer needs, and identify impactful solutions.
• Contribute to Design Strategy and Systems: Help shape our broader design strategy and support the development and maintenance of our design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and a high-quality standard across all digital touchpoints.

All colleagues will receive 33 days holiday (including banks holidays) when they join us, and this will increase with length of service, up to a maximum of 38 days (including banks holidays). You also have the option to buy or sell up to five days of annual leave in addition to your allocation.
