About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join Bolt Food’s Merchant Analytics HQ team. Merchant domain is the beating heart of our Delivery business, covering restaurants and grocery partners across Europe and Africa.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to drive strategic and operational decisions that shape the success of our merchant ecosystem. You won’t be just another cog in the data machine - you’ll influence key business outcomes and see your insights directly translate into growth and performance improvements.

As part of a lean, high-performing analytics team, you’ll work with massive and complex datasets, develop robust data models in collaboration with our Analytics Engineering function, build actionable reports and guide stakeholders with deep analytical insights and recommendations. Your work will span the full merchant lifecycle - from Sales and Onboarding to Operations, Account Management, and beyond - helping us ensure that the best partners join Bolt and thrive on our platform.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Drive business impact through data — translate complex datasets into clear insights that directly shape strategic and operational decisions across Merchant Sales, Operations, and Account Management.
  • Partner with business leaders — work closely with HQ and local teams to identify growth opportunities, uncover performance gaps, and guide initiatives that improve restaurant and grocery partner success.
  • Develop scalable data models — collaborate with Analytics Engineering to design and maintain reliable data foundations that power decision-making across markets.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses — investigate trends, diagnose issues, and reveal the “why” behind key business metrics.
  • Own key metrics and reporting — define, standardize, and automate performance dashboards that ensure visibility of the right KPIs across teams and leadership.
  • Champion data quality and consistency — ensure accuracy and clarity in metrics definitions, fostering trust in data across all stakeholders.
  • Contribute to team growth — share best practices, mentor other analysts, and help shape the analytical culture within Bolt Food’s Merchant domain.


About you:

  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, ideally combining technical and business problem-solving.
  • Strong skills in SQL; DBT is a strong plus..
  • Knowledge of Python..
  • Experience working with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
  • Proactive, curious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while diving deep into the business.
