About The Role

We are looking for a world-class Senior Back-end Engineer. In this role, you will work on our APIs, and our back-end infrastructure.

You will contribute to the platform, service and APIs that help deliver our mission, making Machine Learning for Trust&Safety available to everybody. You will work with a talented team of Engineers while enjoying autonomy to test and suggest implementations.

Your responsibilities will be to:

- Develop and improve services and features in our REST APIs, microservices and processing systems

- Write and maintain scalable, performance and secure code

- Debug production issues across services

- Suggest improvements, features, and contribute to the Back-end roadmap

About You

You will enjoy working here if you love technical challenges at scale, ML applied to Computer Vision (Images / Videos / Livestreams), and you love to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.

An ideal candidate would:

- have 5+ years experience in Back-end development, developing scalable applications or API services

- have a strong experience in PHP and API development

- have experience with relational databases

- be proficient with Docker, GIT

Big plus if you have the following:

- experience with front-end development, with JS, CSS

- experience with Python

- experience with video/audio handling & streaming

- experience with data ingestion pipelines or with system orchestration
