Job Description
We are on the lookout for a Engineer II - Python to join our Quick Commerce vertical to contribute to the creation/improvement of our next-generation services, which works on expanding our amazing delivery processes on both dark stores and local shops partners around the globe, with products such as groceries, pharmaceuticals, flowers, and more. - Contribute to the creation of our next-generation platform.
- You will define/implement software architecture, communicating effectively with engineers, product managers, partners, leaders, and a broad set of stakeholders.
- You don’t shy away from building reliable, scalable systems with high concurrency.
- Eventually, you are not afraid to build global systems that are used by thousands of people and constantly drive for excellence.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with Python.
- Proven experience with container orchestration utilizing Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of relational databases.
- Familiar with common CI/CD tools like Drone, ArgoCD, Github.
- Fluent English communication skill.
- A rock-solid foundation in computer science (data structures, algorithms, software design).
- Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices.
- Ability to make independent decisions and take ownership for them beyond deployment.
- Familiarity with gRPC.
- Professional experience with cloud platform hosting (e.g., AWS / GCP), including proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Helm etc.
- Knowledge of event-based architecture/systems (e.g. Kafka).
