We are seeking a talented and creative UX/UI Design Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship starting March 2026.
The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, a passion for visual design and conceptual thinking, and a strong interest in robotics.
In this role, you will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative design concepts and bring them to life as final product designs. This is a unique opportunity to push the boundaries of robotics while gaining hands-on experience in both user experience (UX) and visual interface design (UI).
Your Responsibilities
- UX: Iterate on user journeys, user stories, and wireframes to prototype based on user feedback and user expectations to address their pain points
- UI Design: Rapidly sketch new features and produce detailed UI designs for our interfaces using Figma. Maintain, update, and expand our design system in Figma
- Support mid-level and senior designers in their projects, contributing to the creation of innovative, user-centered solutions.
- Hands-on experience working closely with software developers and product managers within agile sprint cycles (SCRUM)
- Web design skills
- Experience designing interfaces for physical devices
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Visual Design, Interaction Design, UX/UI Design, or a related field
- Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma for creating visual interfaces, prototypes, presentations, and design specifications
- Strong eye for aesthetics, composition, and lighting
- Creative, technically adept, and a collaborative team player
- Fluent in English
- Demonstrates a strong portfolio of UX and UI projects
- Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment with excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills
