We are looking for a skilled and goal-oriented SAP FICO Architect to lead the creation, implementation, and optimization of SAP financial and controlling solutions.
In this role, you will ensure the successful delivery of SAP projects, aligning technical strategies with organizational objectives. You will work closely with global teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and streamline financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and guide a team of SAP FICO specialists to ensure efficient operations
- Build, develop, and coach high-performing SAP FICO teams across international locations
- Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, staffing, performance reviews, promotions, and compensation decisions
- Drive strategic global initiatives to enhance and expand the SAP FICO function
- Prepare project proposals and statements of work in collaboration with IT teams and business stakeholders
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, overseeing delivery quality, team performance, and project timelines
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of SAP FICO and ensure adherence to best practices across projects
- Work with stakeholders to align SAP FICO strategies with organizational goals and objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP, particularly in FICO modules
- A minimum of 2 years in leadership positions such as Manager, Architect, Owner, or Coordinator
- At least 1 year of experience managing teams of 5 or more individuals
- Participation in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations or experience launching a product or critical product feature to market
- Strong expertise in Agile (Scrum) methodologies and a thorough understanding of software and application architecture
- Advanced knowledge and functional expertise in SAP FICO modules, covering financial and controlling processes
- Experience with pre-sales activities and direct client engagement in SAP-related projects
- Proven ability to balance technical, business, and team management responsibilities successfully
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts
