The Android Software Engineer will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Strong technical skills and experience with Android SDK and Android Studio are essential for this role.
Good knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle, automated testing and DevOps stack are also important.
The Android Software Engineer will also have to collaborate with other team members, including other software engineers, product managers, business analyst and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives.
- Collaborating with other team members to gather and understand requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Developing and maintaining Android Native mobile applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Android Studio Material Component.
- Understanding of Google’s design principles and interface guidelines.
- Writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other team members.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues.
- Continuously improving the software development process and practices.
- Communicating with stakeholders and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to improve the software and the development process.
- Good knowledge of Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Android Studio, Material Components.

- The salary range for this position is from 4.125 to 6.160 gross before taxes.*
- Salary offer for the candidate is determined based on the predefined salary ranges for the position and depends on the level of competence and experience of the candidate.
