Senior IP Network Engineer

Tele2 is looking for a Senior IP Network Engineer who is going to be responsible for deploying IT and Telco Cloud solutions to support different type of applications such as 5G, VoLTE and other valuable services rollout across Tele2 Baltic. You will work with cutting-edge technologies, progress driven colleagues and biggest network equipment vendors as well as taking part in projects with colleagues from Baltic Network team. What You Will Do:

build and integrate modern secure IP and DC SDN networks;
take part in design and plan process with different vendors solutions;
coordinate traffic optimization and plan capacity;
organize security and availability monitoring strategy;
troubleshoot and resolve networking issues.

What We Expect:

hands-on experience with security and networking hardware – routers, firewalls, switches;
hands-on experience with protocols like MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS,VRRP, IPSECVPN, VXLAN, L2VPN, L3VPN, GRE;
good understanding of IP/MPLS networking;
good knowledge of networking protocols, technologies and tools like Wireshark, Tcpdump, Netflow, Snmp;
knowledge of different vendors DC SDN design and solutions (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, VMware);
experience with different vendors firewalls like (Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, VMware, Checkpoint);
experience with Linux operating system as advanced user;
scripting capabilities.

We offer a monthly salary from 3500 to 4200 Eur gross with an additional bonus and a package full of benefits:
