Application Administrator
Location: Onsite in Luxembourg
Employment Type: Contract
Duration: January 2026 start, 6-Month Initial Mission
Kepler Search is currently supporting a well established financial institution in Luxembourg who are hiring for a application administrator to them on an initial 6 month mission. The role will require you to provide technical administrative support on applications, assist with production stability, ensure the environment is high preforming, participate in incident resolution and work with the IT teams to ensure optimal operations of applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Application administration - Monitor production applications, configure and update applications, plan/execute the releases/upgrades and document architectures.
- Advance support - Provide L2/3 application support, monitor application performance for bottlenecks and provide optimisation strategies, raise abnormal alerts, manage user requests and optimise procedures.
- Security - Integrate security for access management, hardening, patching, logging and audits. You will ensure functioning of backups, conduct remediation of applications and contribute to the testing of applications.
- Implementation - Analyse the functional needs, draft specifications, implement solutions and assist with continuous process improvements.
- Automation - Optimise operations and participate in modernisation of application landscapes.
- Collaboration - Work with IT teams such as System, Network, Security, Database and Business stakeholder teams.
Skills needed:
- Minimum 5 years experience working as an application administrator within the financial industry.
- Experience working on banking applications, Temenos and SWIFT.
- Proven experience working using middleware services and data transfers such as GoAnywhere.
- Working knowledge of using operating system Linux.
- English speaking required.
