Every acquisition introduces new data models, new application behavior and new platform logic.

Your role is to make sure these systems integrate smoothly, safely and predictably.

As our Platform Engineer, you work on the application layer of the platform. You build tooling, write scripts, analyse data models, run dry-runs and execute cut-overs that allow each brand to onboard into a single architecture. You turn the architect’s plan into a clean, repeatable engineering process.

What you will do

• Perform application-level integrations across different codebases and data models
• Build internal tooling, scripts and templates to standardize how new brands join the platform
• Analyse database structures and design safe transformation logic
• Prepare and run dry-runs and cut-overs together with the architect and the project manager
• Add validation, observability and safeguards so each run is safe and reversible
• Keep documentation clear and communicate progress with all stakeholders

What you bring

• 7 plus years of experience as a backend or platform engineer
• Experience working with cloud based environments such as AWS (S3, Lambda, databases, networking basics)
• Ability to work across different databases, schemas and application behaviors
• Clear communication and a mindset that values reliability and clean execution

Nice to have: Python,PHP or Node.js, experience with Airflow or Prefect or Temporal, familiarity with Laravel or React or Node environments.

Tech you will work with

AWS (Aurora, Lambda, S3, CloudFront), Terraform, Docker, GitHub Actions, Sentry, CloudWatch

💰 Salary range 5500 to 8000 euro gross per month

🕒 Permanent contract

🌍 Dutch or C1 plus English
