Senior Data Analyst

The Opportunity

We’re supporting a global organisation in advancing its marketing performance and analytics capabilities. The team connects marketing activity to real business outcomes - helping global and local markets understand what drives impact and how to optimise investments.

They’re seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong statistical, technical, and storytelling skills to deliver insight that shapes future marketing strategy.

The Role

You’ll lead analytical work that measures marketing effectiveness and drives smarter decision-making. Depending on project direction, you’ll either:

• Help design and operationalise a hybrid Media Mix Modelling (MMM) framework, or
• Focus on advanced analytics and AI-driven insights, including Power BI dashboards and marketing performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced statistical analyses (ROI, attribution, channel performance).
• Build and maintain data pipelines in dbt and BigQuery.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and deliver actionable insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and marketing teams across global markets.

Requirements

• 5+ years in data analysis or marketing performance measurement.
• Strong in SQL, dbt, and Power BI (data modelling, DAX).
• Skilled in regression modelling, probability, and hypothesis testing.
• Experience with BigQuery or similar cloud data platforms.
• Excellent communication and data storytelling skills.

Nice to have: MMM experience, Python for analytics, AI/agentic tools, and experience mentoring others.

• Strong technical skills across SQL, dbt, Power BI, and BigQuery.
• Flexibility to support either MMM or broader advanced analytics initiatives.

• Hybrid x1 per week in Randstad (flexible)
• 8 month contract (likely extend)
• Interim payroll assignment (no ZZP)
• around €4500 -€5000 a month net salary (inc holiday, pension, expenses)
• 5th January start date latest
