If you’re passionate about embedded systems and want to learn from some of the best in the industry, this is your chance.
Building better and safer isn’t just a slogan – it’s how we work.
We create technology that speaks not only in code, but with meaning: better solutions, better ways of working, and more inclusive communities. And at the heart of it all? Our people. Their curiosity, drive, and fresh ideas keep us moving forward.
We are now looking for a Junior Aerospace Embedded Software Engineer, and this role is perfect for someone who wants to learn, grow, and make an impact in aerospace technology. You’ll be mentored by experts and work on projects that matter.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Some experience (professional, academic projects, internships, or personal work) in embedded software development in C and/or C++.
- Basic knowledge of the software engineering V-cycle and its application in development processes.
- Familiarity with debugging tools, simulators, or basic testing techniques.
- Understanding of real-time systems and interest in safety-critical software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, international team environment.
- Enthusiasm for writing clean, reliable code and learning industry best practices.
- Assist in specifying, designing, implementing and testing embedded software for avionics systems, cabin management systems, and flight control units.
- Learn and apply aerospace standards like DO-178C.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers across software, systems, and Airbus teams.
- Work that fits your life, not the other way around.
- Offices designed to make you feel like you belong.
- A team that knows how to work hard, but also how to have fun.
- Pay that makes you feel valued, plus performance-based rewards.
- Training, support, and opportunities to make your growth our priority.
- Private Health Insurance – Because your health and peace of mind matter.
- Employee Assistance Programme – Confidential support for you and your household, from mental health to legal or financial advice.
- Home Office Support – Get what you need to work comfortably from home, without turning your living room into an ergonomic nightmare.
- Extra Holidays – The longer you’re with us, the more you get: two extra days after your first year, and more as time goes on.
- Extra Parental Leave – Two additional months of fully paid leave for both parents, whether you’re welcoming a child by birth or adoption.
- Flex-Time – We don’t clock-watch. Work when it makes sense for you, as long as it works for your team and goals.
- Gradual Return to Work Support – Returning after a long break? We’ll help you ease back in with a plan that fits your pace and needs.
- Sabbatical Programme – Long-term employees can take time off to explore new ideas, projects, or experiences and come back with fresh eyes and stories to tell.
Now, the real question is: are you ready to join us and help make the world a better and safer place?
