As a UX/UI Designer at North you will partner with internal and external teams to understand, craft, prototype, measure and improve the best digital experiences in the world.

What you will do:
- Define and analyze user journeys across, in web an mobile applications, for accessibility issues and work with developers and designers to define and implement solutions
- Own the accessibility aspect of a large design system ensuring that every component meets the standards
- Develop frameworks, guidelines, processes and toolkits on digital accessibility for designers, engineers and product teams
- Influence all user research activities to make them always inclusive
- Work with team management to define and implement a plan to grow the team’s accessibility maturity over time
- 3+ years of experience in user experience design
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.x guidelines, WAI-ARIA and other related accessibility standards, with practical experience in implementing accessibility testing methodologies
- Experience in testing with assistive technologies (including screen readers such as VoiceOver and NVDA or JAWS)
- Ability to present design rationale to our teams and clients. You can articulate the ‘why’ and lead discussions around your process, explorations, and conclusions.
- Strong knowledge of UX principles and best practices, including understanding when and where different methodologies and techniques should be incorporated into the process.
- Knowledge of how to facilitate workshops. You’re comfortable leading a room, getting people aligned, and crafting ways to engage a group while surfacing the most important details.
- Have experience working in Agile environments.
- Are passionate about trends and developments in design & technology.
