HR & Compliance Representative – Union Relations (Oslo or Bergen)
Are you passionate about employment law and union relations? This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of HR, legal compliance, and industrial relations within a global organization that values fair and compliant workplace practices.
Location: Oslo (Lysaker) or Bergen (Sandsli)
Work Authorization: Candidates should ideally be based in Norway. If currently located elsewhere in Europe, you must be willing to relocate to Norway. Please note that relocation support is not provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on union agreements, employment contracts, and Norwegian labor law.
- Represent the organization in negotiations and discussions with union representatives.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, legislation, and ethical standards.
- Review and update employment contracts and HR policies.
- Provide guidance on disciplinary, restructuring, or legal employment cases.
- Collaborate with HR and management on workforce planning and employee relations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, compliance, or labor relations.
- Strong understanding of Norwegian employment law and union structures.
- Background in HR, legal (junior lawyer), or industrial relations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Resilient, structured, and confident in handling complex employee matters.
Language Requirements
- English: Written – Fluent (C1/C2) | Spoken – Fluent (C1/C2)
- Norwegian: Written – Fluent (C1/C2) | Spoken – Fluent (C1/C2)
