HR Representative – Ågotnes (Near Bergen), Norway
Are you passionate about HR operations and enjoy working in an industrial environment? This role offers an exciting opportunity to support employees and managers at a production site while ensuring compliance with Norwegian labor laws and union agreements.
As an HR Representative, you’ll be the primary point of contact for HR support at the Ågotnes facility. You’ll work closely with managers and employees—mainly within production and technical teams—to ensure smooth HR processes, employee engagement, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR processes and policies.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle administration.
- Coordinate training, competence development, and learning activities.
- Manage HR reporting, payroll coordination, and personnel documentation.
- Support union and employee relations in collaboration with site leadership.
- Ensure compliance with local employment regulations, health & safety, and company standards.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally in industry, manufacturing, or oil & gas.
- Knowledge of union agreements and Norwegian employment law.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a structured approach to hands-on HR tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred.
Language Requirements
- English: Written – Fluent (C1/C2) | Spoken – Fluent (C1/C2)
- Norwegian: Written – Fluent (C1/C2) | Spoken – Fluent (C1/C2)
