Join us as a Research Scientist and play a key role in developing cutting-edge electrolyte solutions for next-generation LNMO-based lithium-ion batteries. In this role, you’ll tackle complex scientific challenges, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and deliver breakthroughs that enhance performance, safety, and reliability in advanced energy storage systems.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrolyte formulations for improved cell performance.
- Plan and execute experiments to develop and screen new formulations.
- Perform characterization and analyze data to understand formulation-performance relationships.
- Identify and implement improvements in electrolytes and testing procedures.
- Interpret results and propose chemical reaction pathways for lithium-ion systems.
- Stay updated on advancements in electrolyte technology and provide scientific support across teams.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and collaborate with internal and external partners.
Skills & Requirements
- Masters or PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or in a related field.
- At least 1 year of industry or academic experience developing liquid electrolytes
- Comfortable working & communicating in English
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward.
- Results-oriented mindset, focused on achieving technical and project goals efficiently.
- Ability to perform well in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities.
