As a Security Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding critical systems, applications, and customer data across a global platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, from engineering to executives, to implement security best practices, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely in a dynamic environment while leading initiatives that strengthen organizational security posture. You will manage monitoring platforms, conduct vulnerability assessments, perform forensic investigations, and drive company-wide security awareness programs. Your work will directly contribute to delivering trusted, scalable, and reliable solutions while continuously improving processes, tools, and standards.

As a Security Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding critical systems, applications, and customer data across a global platform. You will manage monitoring platforms, conduct vulnerability assessments, perform forensic investigations, and drive company-wide security awareness programs. Your work will directly contribute to delivering trusted, scalable, and reliable solutions while continuously improving processes, tools, and standards.
Accountabilities:
- Lead incident response activities, including monitoring security alerts, managing threats, and handling customer-reported security incidents such as phishing or data breaches
- Develop, test, and maintain incident response plans and security playbooks to improve organizational readiness
- Implement and manage application security tooling, including SAST/DAST solutions, container scanning, and CI/CD integration
- Conduct forensic investigations to identify attack vectors, assess impacts, and coordinate remediation efforts
- Build and maintain security policies, deliver company-wide security awareness training, and promote best practices across teams
- Support compliance initiatives, including audits, vulnerability management programs, and data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and PCI DSS Level 1
- Manage security reviews and assessments for third-party vendors and prospective customers
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 3+ years of practical experience in information security
- Strong experience in incident response, security monitoring, and application vulnerability management
- Proficiency with compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS Level 1, SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA, and fintech regulations
- Hands-on experience with cloud security, particularly AWS and Kubernetes, and security integration within CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with security monitoring platforms, forensic tools, and application security solutions (SAST/DAST)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multilingual teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills with a data-driven mindset
- Experience performing security risk assessments and translating findings into actionable remediation plans
- Hands-on experience with tools such as CrowdStrike, AWS Security, GitHub Advanced Security, ZeroFox, KnowBe4, or PhishER
- Relevant certifications like AWS Certified Security - Specialty, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent
- Fully remote work with flexible schedule options
- Annual compensation range between USD $40,000 - $62,000 depending on skills and experience
