What is the opportunity?
The RBC Wealth Management Technology group in Montreal is an extension of the existing Wealth Management Online team that will be building out new, strategic capabilities.
What will you do?
- Applies extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to manage detailed design phases for large projects and facilitate medium to high complexity agile initiatives from initiation through release and ongoing production support.
- Facilitates team activity to ensure the team is set up to succeed by identifying dependencies and removing roadblocks.
- Guides teams to solve significant problems/issues, including clarifying/ interpreting/analyzing complex information and developing recommendations for management consideration.
- Acts as primary IT liaison with multiple interfacing applications, IT Executives, solutions team, and/or Project Managers, and communicates cross functionally, ensuring transparency of progress and outcomes.
- Serves as a resource integrator – builds professional networks and identifies/connects resources to solve problems/issues and achieve goals. Regularly contributes actionable ideas in planning/design sessions.
- Provides direction, expertise, feedback, and proactive coaching to the team and recommends continuous improvement of processes to optimize team productivity, engaging coach as required to build the capability of more junior staff.
- In this role, you will communicate and interact frequently with RBC partners and/or employees located across Canada and/or worldwide.
Must have:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 7+ years' experience as a Scrum Master or Kanban Service Delivery Manager where Scrum or Kanban principles, practices and theory were diligently applied
- Project / Program Agile delivery experience in a dependent multi-agile team environment, using influence to facilitate to outcomes, including practical experience facilitating all key Scrum ceremonies
- Working experience of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies and tools (Jira & Confluence)
- Certified Scrum Master/Agile Practitioner
- Experience working on medium-to-high complexity initiatives
