ABOUT THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Summit is looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to work closely with our CTO on the technical design, implementation, and deployment of both existing and new Summit products.

• Design, build, and deploy end-to-end products and features that deliver a seamless, high-quality experience for our community.
• Manage the development lifecycle from feature conception to production deployment.
• Modify, debug, and test existing software to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Maintain and enhance software post-deployment to keep products up to date.
• Contribute to high-level architecture and design discussions, ensuring code quality and best practices across projects.
• Collaborate across teams, translating technical concepts into actionable solutions.

ABOUT YOU & YOUR SKILLS

• 5+ years of professional development experience in full stack roles.
• Strong communicator and collaborator; comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Required technical experience: PHP / Laravel, NodeJS, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Bonus / major advantage: Experience with React Native and Expo for mobile app development.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Passion for building products that empower and connect global communities.

JOB TYPE

Full-time, remote role.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary based on and commensurate to experience level, with unlimited vacation policy and full medical, dental, and vision packages, 401K. Estimated salary range is $100K - $150K.
