Project & Role:

Be part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team focused on Statistical Forecasting & Analytics. The team’s mission is to improve Forecast Accuracy and reduce bias, working closely with multiple business units, regions, and functions.

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to build and maintain a forecasting engine powered by statistical and machine learning models, mainly focused on time series forecasting in the context of integrated business planning and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain statistical and ML models for time series forecasting.
• Analyze and interpret time-series data using decomposition and trend analysis methods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve forecasting accuracy and reduce bias.
• Contribute to architecture and design of scalable, production-ready solutions in Python and PySpark.
• Work with Azure cloud technologies (Databricks, DevOps, Data Factory).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong expertise in time-series models (ARIMA, Prophet) and classical ML (XGBoost, LGBM, CatBoost).
• Experience with deep learning models applied to time-series forecasting.
• Proficient in Python, PySpark, and Git.
• Experience with Azure cloud services (Databricks, DevOps); Azure Data Factory is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
