What will you be doing?
You'll shape the look, feel, and performance of our customer-facing products by transforming design concepts into high-quality, intuitive interfaces that work seamlessly across all devices. You'll collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Quality Assurance Analysts to design, develop, test, and refine features that help our partners raise vital funds—while contributing to UI/UX decisions, code quality, and our engineering standards.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
- Design and build responsive, accessible user interfaces; translate UX/UI designs into high-quality, maintainable code
- Implement interactive features that deliver smooth, intuitive experiences across devices and browsers
- Optimise front-end performance for fast load times and scalability
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in constructive code reviews
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Quality Analysts to plan, build, and ship features
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues promptly
- Maintain clear technical documentation for features, components, and systems
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of front-end tooling and best practices
- Support and mentor less experienced engineers (where applicable to your experience level)
What You’ll Be Able to Bring to the Role
- Solid commercial experience (mid–senior level) as a Front-End or UI Engineer building complex web applications
- Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript with contemporary frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Vue)
- Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and mobile-first principles
- Experience translating designs into accessible, pixel-perfect, performant interfaces
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and front-end performance optimisation
- Experience writing clean, testable code using front-end testing tools (unit, integration, or end-to-end)
- Comfort working in collaborative, cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and time management
- Clear communication skills—explaining technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A growth mindset and openness to continuous learning and feedback
- For senior candidates: proven mentoring experience and contributions to technical standards
Salary Banding: $130,000 - $150,000 + Super
