Senior Python Developer

We are seeking a talented Senior Python Developer to join our team and contribute to building scalable and efficient applications.

In this role, you will work alongside a dynamic group of developers and stakeholders to craft innovative solutions using modern frameworks and tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality backend systems using Python, with a preference for FastAPI
• Design reliable APIs in collaboration with frontend developers
• Optimize databases and manage data storage and retrieval with SQL
• Use Docker and Kubernetes to support containerization and orchestration of applications
• Implement seamless integration and deployment processes within cloud environments like Amazon Web Services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system architecture with business objectives
• Resolve performance bottlenecks and address technical challenges
• Perform code reviews to promote a clean and maintainable codebase
• Support automated workflows and pipelines throughout the development lifecycle
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide technical insights during planning

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working on backend application development with Python
• Proficiency in cloud environments, especially Amazon Web Services
• Skills in creating user interfaces using ReactJS or Svelte with TypeScript
• Competency in using Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• Expertise in integrating and managing SQL databases
• Familiarity with Golang or other backend programming languages

Nice to have

• Background using automated testing in JavaScript-based environments
• Experience with E2E testing using platforms such as Playwright or Selenium
• Understanding of developer experience platforms like Backstage
• Proficiency in code quality assurance tools, including SonarQube
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines supported through GitHub Actions
