Junior HR Business Partner (m/f/d)

Temporary position – 14 months

We are looking for a Junior HR Business Partner to complement our Austrian HR-Team. This role partners closely with HR support functions and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful, compliant, and effective HR solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the HR Business Partner across change management, performance management, organizational development, talent management, employee development, total rewards, and HR policy compliance
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and foster a constructive relationship with the local works council
  • Contribute to the implementation of defined HR priorities and initiatives
  • Partner with HR support functions (Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, HR Shared Services, Payroll) to ensure high-quality client support
  • Serve as an administrative interface with the HR support center and handle local tasks as needed
  • Address Workday-related questions and promote a manager self-service mindset
  • Coordinate and manage HR lifecycle processes (e.g., onboarding, transfers, exits) efficiently and accurately
  • Lead defined workstreams or projects that support our HR evolution
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to deliver practical, compliant HR solutions aligned with local laws and regulations
  • Actively participate as a member of the Austrian HR team to enhance the HR operating model and client experience

Qualifications

  • Foundational understanding of HR programs, policies, and current trends
  • Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Experience working with HRIS (ideally Workday) and comfort with data accuracy and reporting basics
  • Familiarity with performance management processes; exposure to compensation and benefits administration is a plus
  • Experience in a works council environment and/or Austrian employment law exposure
  • Clear commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion; able to build trust and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong partnership and communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders and HR colleagues
  • High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
  • Networking ability and willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative

We offer an attractive salary, outstanding social benefits and an exciting work environment with varied tasks in an international environment. The minimum annual salary for this position is EUR 55.500,-- and varies according to the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
