Job description

As Front-End Developer you will build a modern, scalable, and user-friendly web portal.

You will be responsible for developing responsive, accessible, and visually appealing web interfaces while collaborating closely with designers and back-end developers to implement new features.

Your role includes building reusable components using modern frameworks, integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and enterprise systems.

You'll work 2–3 days on-site in Louvain, the remaining days working remotely.

Profile

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Developer with at least four years of experience in front-end or full-stack web development. The ideal candidate combines strong coding expertise with a keen eye for design and usability, ensuring seamless and responsive user experiences.

Key technical skills:

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands-on experience with React and Vue.js
• Familiarity with TypeScript and component-based architecture
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and asynchronous data handling
• Solid understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and WCAG accessibility standards
• Knowledge of Next.js, Redux, or React Query
• Authentication and authorization (OAuth2, SSO, JWT)
• Integration with CMS, CRM, or enterprise systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure cloud platforms

You communicate fluently in both Dutch and English.
