Major Duties
We are looking for Tampere
Senior Software Architect
to join our R&D automation team, which is responsible for the control systems of harvesters, forwarders and full-tree machines worldwide.
In this position, you will design and implement versatile software features for our machine control systems. As a tech lead in your area, your main responsibilities are defining sustainable design principles and architectures, supporting other team members, and combining all this with hands-on practical development work of your own. You will work together in active cooperation with local and international cross-technical design teams, and on your part be responsible for high-quality software development in our projects.

We require
- Proven experience in designing and implementing sustainable complex solutions in embedded systems
- Proficiency in C language
- Adequate understanding of Matlab/Simulink tools with motivation to learn more in this area
- Solid experience in software production tools and methods such as DevOps and Agile development
- High desire for continuously improving your skillset as a professional
- Great teamwork skills and technical leadership required in an international work environment
- University degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- Experience and interest in mobile heavy machinery
- Understanding of electronics and/or hydraulics
- Fluency in Finnish considered as an advantage
