The first few weeks will be getting up to speed on the platform, then you will be properly shipping new features, then all going well you will be mentoring some junior engineers also.

Working for a non profit hits different. However, not everyone is made for it, they can't compete with the Big 4 for salary and stocks :) You need the right type of personality, someone who is in it for the long run and wants to make a deep impact.
