iLet is a Dublin-based startup transforming property management through intelligent, modern software. Our Django-powered web app streamlines every part of the property management process, from tenant onboarding to rent collection and we’re looking for a talented developer to help shape our product and technical roadmap.

The Role

We’re looking for a Full Stack Python Developer who’s passionate about building robust, scalable products and isn’t afraid to shape the technical direction of a fast-growing startup.

You’ll work across the full stack, from backend services to front-end interfaces, driving innovation and reliability in our product. As one of our early technical hires, you’ll have real ownership and a voice in the product’s evolution.

Key Responsibilities

Back-End Development

• Develop, enhance, and maintain our Django-based backend.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable Python code.
• Design and optimise APIs for performance and scalability.

Front-End Development

• Refine and modernise our JavaScript codebase.
• Improve UI/UX in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Introduce and evaluate modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.) where beneficial.
• Enhance styling and responsiveness with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or similar frameworks.

AI & Innovation

• Explore and implement opportunities to integrate Generative AI and ML frameworks (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain, Hugging Face, TensorFlow) to enhance automation, insights, and customer experience.
• Contribute to the design of AI-driven tools that simplify workflows for property managers and tenants.

Collaboration & Strategy

• Work closely with the founding team to plan, prioritise, and execute key development initiatives.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, architecture, and product direction.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills

• 5+ years of full-stack web development experience (or equivalent project portfolio).
• Proficient in Python and Django.
• Strong JavaScript skills, with an understanding of modern frameworks.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and web app hosting.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLM frameworks, or AI API integration.
