HR / Talent Acquisition Specialist

Overview

The HR / Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a primary focus on recruiting, onboarding, and maintaining a positive employee experience. This role partners with hiring managers, supports HR operations, and ensures compliance with organizational policies and employment regulations.


Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and create job descriptions.
  • Utilize various sourcing methods (job boards, social media, referrals, networking) to attract qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks.
  • Manage candidate communications to ensure a positive experience.
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS).


HR Operations

  • Support new hire onboarding, including contract preparation, orientation, and setup of HR systems.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy across HR platforms.
  • Assist in administering HR policies, procedures, and company guidelines.
  • Provide first-level support for employee inquiries related to HR and recruitment.
  • Support performance review cycles, employee engagement initiatives, and learning & development programs.


Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure recruitment and HR practices align with employment legislation and internal policies.
  • Track and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness, and pipeline activity.
  • Participate in audits and compliance checks as required.


Skills & Qualifications

Required

  • Experience in HR, recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end hiring processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent Mandarin and English Language Skills
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with ATS tools and common HR software.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
