HR / Talent Acquisition Specialist
Overview
The HR / Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a primary focus on recruiting, onboarding, and maintaining a positive employee experience. This role partners with hiring managers, supports HR operations, and ensures compliance with organizational policies and employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and create job descriptions.
- Utilize various sourcing methods (job boards, social media, referrals, networking) to attract qualified candidates.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks.
- Manage candidate communications to ensure a positive experience.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS).
HR Operations
- Support new hire onboarding, including contract preparation, orientation, and setup of HR systems.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy across HR platforms.
- Assist in administering HR policies, procedures, and company guidelines.
- Provide first-level support for employee inquiries related to HR and recruitment.
- Support performance review cycles, employee engagement initiatives, and learning & development programs.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure recruitment and HR practices align with employment legislation and internal policies.
- Track and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, sourcing effectiveness, and pipeline activity.
- Participate in audits and compliance checks as required.
Skills & Qualifications
Required
- Experience in HR, recruitment, talent acquisition, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end hiring processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent Mandarin and English Language Skills
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with ATS tools and common HR software.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
