Discover the team

We are looking for a System Administrator to join our international IT team at our Riga office. The role involves managing and maintaining our server infrastructure, network services, office infrastructure support and application delivery stack. The ideal candidate understands core system administration concepts and is ready to grow into broader responsibilities, including participation in a rotating 24/7 support schedule in the future.

🎯 Your responsibilities:

• Maintain and support Linux and Windows based servers and associated Web and Database services
• Support the Development Team in their day to day activity (DevOp)
• Manage network equipment, routing, VPNs, firewalls, and access controls
• Assist with provisioning, monitoring, and maintaining CDN and caching layers
• Perform troubleshooting across infrastructure, network, application layers
• Participate in documentation of procedures, system configurations, and knowledge base materials
• Collaborate with other IT verticals: security, DevOps, application support, hosting environments, and cloud providers
• Support incident response and root cause analysis
• As a mandatory requirement, join a rotating on-call / 24x7 support schedule after sufficient onboarding and training

🙌 If you see yourself in these characteristics, we could be the perfect match:

• Understanding of Linux and Windows system administration and willingness to learn
• Practical knowledge of IP networking, routing, DNS, TLS certificates, and general network troubleshooting
• Understanding of least one CDN platform (Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, etc.) and willingness to learn
• Familiarity with command-line tools, configuration files, and basic scripting
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and collaborate within a distributed team
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience with monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Zabbix, Site24x7, Grafana) will be considered a plus
• Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization, or virtualization (Docker, Proxmox, VMware, KVM) will be considered a plus
• Experience with web stack components (Nginx, Apache, PHP, Node.js, etc.) will be considered a plus
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, OVH, etc.) will be considered a plus
