Hardware Product Manager

We’re looking for a high-impact Hardware Product Manager to take full ownership of Deeper’s next-generation baitboat and industrial water-drone portfolio. This role is critical to shaping our long-term innovation strategy – turning ideas into market-ready products that deliver measurable customer value, scale commercially, and reinforce our position as the category leader.

This is a strategic and deeply hands-on role. You will define product vision and positioning, lead cross-functional teams, and manage the full development lifecycle – from early discovery and prototyping to launch, adoption, and long-term portfolio growth. You will ensure that every product has a clear value proposition, competitive differentiation, and a sustainable business model. Beyond execution, you will lead how our products generate long-term commercial and brand value – shaping adoption, retention, and new growth pathways across consumer and industrial markets through product development and positioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full development and evolution of the baitboat and industrial drone product portfolio, ensuring each product launches successfully and strengthens Deeper’s market position.
• Define and articulate product vision, positioning, and value propositions, ensuring clear differentiation and commercial impact.
• Create and maintain a strategic product roadmap aligned with company goals, innovation direction, and market opportunities.
• Oversee the full end-to-end lifecycle: discovery, concept validation, requirement definition, design, prototyping, testing, launch readiness, and post-launch optimization.
• Conduct deep market, customer, and competitor research, turning insights into actionable product decisions.
• Act as a bridge between business and technology, collaborating closely with R&D, industrial design, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams.
• Serve as the hands-on guardian of product concept and quality – testing prototypes in real environments, validating real-world performance, and gatekeeping readiness for launch.
• Monitor post-launch performance, user adoption, customer feedback, and market dynamics to drive continuous improvements.
• Support pricing, cost analysis, and financial modelling to ensure sustainable profitability and ROI.
• Partner with Commercial team to build and execute effective go-to-market plans, including messaging, product positioning, and launch strategy.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hardware product management, product development, or a similar role in consumer electronics, robotics, marine, industrial, or related fields.
• Ability to balance technical feasibility, user needs, business impact, and brand considerations.
• Strong understanding of product development workflows – from ideation and prototyping to development and commercial launch.
• Analytical and market-driven mindset with solid business acumen.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management capabilities; comfortable driving multiple complex projects in parallel.
• Experience with cost modelling, pricing strategy, and ROI analysis.

Compensation

Fixed salary depending on experience: € 3500-4400 gross/month + annual bonuses.
