The Position
As part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a team of Business Analysts to join our client's project located in Luxembourg. As a Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating workshops with business users, conducting interviews, analyzing existing processes and documentation to identify and deeply understand requirements for the new solution.
- Mapping current business processes ("As-Is") and defining target processes ("To-Be") using standard notations (BPMN, UML, Archimate) and Visual Paradigm, in collaboration with business experts and architects.
- Translating business needs into clear, precise, and unambiguous functional specifications, supported by models created in Visual Paradigm.
- Assessing the impact of proposed changes on existing processes and systems, and analyzing solution feasibility in collaboration with technical teams.
- Acting as a bridge between business teams and development teams, ensuring requirements are well understood and addressing functional questions from developers.
- Defining acceptance criteria for each requirement, ensuring they are testable, and validating deliverables to guarantee alignment with business needs.
- Contributing to the creation, prioritization, and maintenance of the product backlog in collaboration with the Project Manager, using tools such as Gitlab or Monday.com.
- Supporting testing teams (using Azure DevOps) in defining test scenarios and analyzing defects from a functional perspective.
Your Profile
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on IT projects, ideally on ERP rewrites or complex business application migrations.
- Proven experience facilitating workshops and conducting interviews with users at different levels.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum project environments, using CI/CD tools such as Gitlab.
- Strong background in process modeling (BPMN, UML, Archimate) with significant expertise in Visual Paradigm.
- Previous experience in the Luxembourg public sector would be an asset.
Technical Skills
- Excellent knowledge of requirements gathering and analysis techniques (interviews, workshops, observation) in an application rewrite context.
- Strong expertise in business and system process modeling (BPMN, UML, Archimate) with confirmed proficiency in Visual Paradigm.
- Experience drafting functional specifications (User Stories, use cases, business rules).
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum, Prince2, PMBOK).
- Knowledge of project tracking tools (Monday.com).
- Functional knowledge of ERP, especially in public finance and population management domains, is a strong asset.
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles for effective collaboration with designers.
- Familiarity with TOGAF and Prometa frameworks is considered a plus.

- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to clearly document complex requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to technical and non-technical stakeholders, simplify complex concepts, and actively listen.
- Pragmatic approach to identifying solutions and taking initiative.
