Contract Type: Freelance (Contract)

Location: Luxembourg (Hybrid with strong on-site presence preferred)

Start Date: Ideally January; December start possible for the right candidate

Project Duration: Approx. 18 months (initial 3-month contract, extendable to 6 months)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead both business and IT workstreams for a strategic initiative involving a depository and settlement organization based in the Middle East. The role requires coordination across internal teams and external stakeholders, including managing scope, deliverables, testing phases, and legal documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate business and IT streams of the project
• Define and agree on scope and deliverables
• Manage testing phases with external parties and customers
• Oversee legal documentation preparation
• Ensure alignment with internal delivery teams and external stakeholders
• Report to director-level stakeholders
  
  
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Approx. 10 years of project management experience gained in the Luxembourg banking industry
• Strong soft skills and stakeholder management, especially with senior leadership
• Excellent communication skills; native English speaker preferred due to team language dynamics
• Background in financial services, settlement / custodianship,
• Familiarity with SWIFT and Connectivity logic is a plus
• Experience managing multiple medium-scale projects
