About the company

Our client is a 30-year-old Dutch digital agency that was building mobile apps before most companies even knew what an App Store was. Today they develop high-impact apps for major Dutch brands in telecom, identity, finance and consumer.

The team spans Amsterdam and Barcelona (37 people, 10+ nationalities) with a long-term, quality-first engineering culture. Low ego, no politics, no endless hierarchy — just people who care about craft and communication.

The timing is unique: the iOS chapter is entering a transition. One senior is leaving soon, another has been here for long. That means you immediately become one of the key voices shaping architecture, engineering standards and client communication.

What you’ll do

• Own significant parts of native iOS apps used by Dutch A-brands
• Design clean architectures and set high coding standards
• Ship to production frequently — real users, real impact
• Collaborate directly with clients, designers and cross-platform teams
• Participate in technical discussions and help evolve the mobile chapter
• Work with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, async/await, concurrency and modern CI/CD
• Touch React Native when it’s useful for delivery speed (or learn it quickly with support)

What we’re looking for

• Strong mid-level or senior iOS engineer
• Several years of production experience with Swift
• Solid SwiftUI, UIKit, async/await and concurrency fundamentals
• Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines, testing and App Store release flows
• Experience working in the Dutch tech market is essential
• Consultancy or agency background is a strong plus
• Excellent communication skills — clear, structured, client-friendly
• Already living in the Netherlands with a valid EU work permit

Medior: €52.000 – €71.000

Senior: €70.000 – €95.000, depending on experience and impact
