This position, covers the responsibility of Product Brand Management of both Valentino & Mugler .
Valentino & Mugler form part of our couture fragrance portfolio. Despite their couture DNA both brands have unique positionings with clear, differentiated go-to-market strategies. As a PBM, you will be part of the Fragrance Brands Marketing team accountable for driving awareness and business results.
Who am I?
As Product Brand Manager you are part of a multidisciplinary marketing team and within it, you are the ‘Brand Champion’. Furthermore, you will be the expert of your consumers, its strategy, and the budget choices, all to maximize market share and enhance the brands equity.
In short: you are accountable for developing, driving and implementing the 360 strategy for Valentino & Mugler, answering the local consumer needs.
My Responsibilities
The Brand Product Manager has a diverse set of tasks, consisting of:
- Incorporating consumer centricity and data driven insights for; the category, competitor behavior, market trends and sell-out figures
- Build the product strategy, growth plan & supporting budget
- Implement a 360 plan for launches, renovations and always-on pillar support with key stakeholders
- Protect the brand equity / expression both on & off-line, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints: artworks, claim validation, model rights, DMI croppings and layouts, etc.
- Product Forecasting & Budget Management
You are analytical strong but pragmatic when the situation requires. Determined to make impact by taking the initiative, localizing global ideas and sharing ideas with generosity. It is important to feel comfortable to collaborate with different stakeholders and influence when necessary. Furthermore you are open minded and supportive towards new initiatives and have passion for beauty and skincare.
Our Ideal Candidate Has
- Obtained a Master Degree, preferably in a relevant field
- At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in (preferably category driven) brand product management
- Experience with fast and effective internal and external stakeholder management.
- A broad understanding of FMCG and/or Luxe business, such as Digital, Category Management, E-Commerce and Sales.
- Fluent in English and native in either French or Dutch
