As a Data Scientist Insights – Transaction Monitoring, you play a crucial role in analysing and improving how millions of daily transactions are monitored for potential criminal activity.

This is a unique opportunity to work with large-scale datasets (8M+ customers), modern cloud environments, and a mission-critical analytics ecosystem -while making a real difference.

What You Will Do

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and improve automated pipelines for tuning, lookback analyses, and impact assessments across complex Transaction Monitoring (TM) model components.
• Perform end-to-end analyses: intake → coding → visualization → presenting insights to stakeholders.
• Design and deliver dashboards -from back-end data modeling to front-end visualization—supporting rule tuning, model optimisation, and daily monitoring performance.

Your Experience

Hard Skills

• Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Mathematics).
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis using Python.
• Experience with PySpark, Databricks, Power BI. (Mandatory)

Soft Skills

• Skilled in building end-to-end solutions using repos, version control, pipelines, and testing frameworks.
• Able to translate stakeholder questions into clear analytical approaches.
• Strong communicator who visualizes insights clearly and presents with confidence.
• Structured, precise, proactive, and business-oriented.
• Capable of guiding junior and mid-level team members, sharing your technical vision.
• Able to see the bigger picture, spot patterns, and anticipate new insights.
