About Your Role

• Design, develop, and maintain primarily Biocoded iOS and iPadOS applications which are high-security communicators with text, multimedia, audio/video calling and IoT capabilities. More on Biocoded can be read on https:///www.biocoded.com/
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to build high-quality software with local and international teams.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, primarily using Swift.
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest iOS development trends, frameworks, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth app functionality.

What we are looking for

• Mid-level: at least 2+ years of iOS development experience.
• Senior-level: 5+ years of iOS development experience.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Swift.
• Proficiency in using Xcode and related development tools.
• Experience with UIKit, Foundation Framework.
• Experience with manipulating data in relational databases, like SQLite.
• Experience with managing a project and it’s dependencies, like Swift Package Manager.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration of backend services.
• Understanding how applications are built and submitted to App Store.

Language Requirement

• Fluent English (both written and spoken) – strong communication skill is a must.
• Any additional language is a plus.

Bonus Skills / Nice to have

• Familiarity with SwiftUI.
• Familiarity with Objective-C.
• Understanding of AVFoundation.
• Understanding CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Swift Concurrency, Swift 6 and AppExtensions
• Understanding of Enterprise app build pipeline and deployment.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to details.
• Passion to build great, high-performance apps.
