About the role
We’re seeking an experienced, audience and customer-first Social Media Marketing Manager/ Social Media Marketer to take ownership and drive success. You’ll craft and execute a modern strategy to position our brand and people as thought leaders.
Our goal is to share content that empowers customers and prospects to thrive with or without our software. It’s central to our marketing efforts, and we need someone to take our social media marketing game to the next level.
If a tree falls in the woods but no one hears it, did it make an impact? That’s how we think about content. Its success lies in its reach. That’s why you’ll amplify our efforts through our people, channels and a sheer will to distribute our content effectively.
Ideally you’ll have B2B SaaS experience, deep social media expertise, and a knack for balancing innovation with results.
You’ll put the customer and audience first. It’s about figuring out where our audience actually spends their time and making that channel the focus – not recycling the same old playbook.
We’d love to see experience with building or running an employee advocacy or social selling program. If not, you’ll need to show a real drive and eagerness to learn and succeed in this area.
You should be no stranger to creating fun, creative, educational, and edutainment-style social content.
As part of the Content Marketing and PR team, reporting to the Head of Content Marketing and PR, you’ll play an instrumental role in building the Heimdal® brand across digital channels.
Your day-to-day
- Create and own a social media strategy to drive brand awareness, educate the market, nurture customers, and influence pipeline
- Create daily social content, including creative concepting, copywriting, visual assets, and videos (with some design and video support)
- Help foster and grow a feeling of community between Heimdal and our partners on our social channels.
- Work closely with internal SMEs and employees, founders, external thought leaders, creators, and partners
- Keep a pulse on the latest social trends to stay ahead of the curve and aim beyond it
- Amplify other marketing activities and strategize social media distribution
- Build campaigns around events and travel, ready to execute
- Partner with Head of Content and PR on brand alignment and creative ways to amplify the Heimdal brand in innovative ways
- Serve as a strategic thinker and rapport builder to drive cross-functional participation and excitement about our social media presence
- Stay sharp on digital marketing trends, platform algorithm updates, and evolving best practices
- Pitch in where needed to support the wider marketing and sales goals
What we are looking for
- Backed by at least 3 in B2B social media marketing
- Skilled in creating short-form videos, editing proficiency, and social media marketing
- Experience producing and working with talent, coaching and briefing creators, internal experts, CEOs, etc.
- Willing to travel to events and build campaigns around our people and partners
- Desire to build an employee advocacy program that empowers our best distribution opportunity (our people) to amplify our brand and content
- Understand the numbers behind your efforts and help leadership understand how our social marketing strategy is helping the business succeed
