We are looking for a Business Analyst with experience in Transport and Warehouse operations, capable of connecting business needs with effective technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, Agile teams, and external suppliers to define requirements, design robust workflows, and support the implementation of scalable logistics solutions.
Contract & Work Model
Contract type: B2B
Location: Bucharest
Work model: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite
Office location: Plaza Romania area, Sector 6
Daily rate: 1200 lei/day
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of Transport and Warehouse business needs; analyze requirements and current operational processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and the Center of Excellence to evaluate solution alternatives and present recommendations.
- Translate business requirements into detailed specifications, user stories, and process documentation together with Agile development teams.
- Work with the Product Owner on cost estimation and support approval discussions with the Business Owner.
- Provide ongoing clarification and support to development teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Create and validate test scenarios, and support end users during UAT activities.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and are properly communicated to stakeholders.
- Prepare user documentation and facilitate training sessions for key users on new functionalities.
- Contribute to improving business process flows before and after solution implementation, focusing on operational impact and user experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst within Transport or Warehouse domains (TMS/WMS).
- Good understanding of logistics operations such as transport planning, fleet management, inbound/outbound processes, picking and packing.
- Experience documenting and optimizing operational workflows.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Knowledge of tools such as BPMN modeling, Visio, Lucidchart, Jira, Confluence.
- Experience preparing UAT scenarios and supporting user testing.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements for development teams.
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Analytical thinking, structured problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication abilities and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Team-player attitude and strong interpersonal abilities.
