Data & AI Teamlead

Our partner is looking for an experienced Data & AI Team Lead to lead a 7-person senior Data & Analytics/AI team. You will oversee AI and data projects, manage technical team members, and act as the bridge between business and technical stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions. You will drive the development of cloud and legacy-integrated data architectures while ensuring team delivery, quality, and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing Data & AI team, managing project delivery and technical execution.
• Translate business needs into data-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Oversee data architecture, modeling, integration, and analytics initiatives across cloud and legacy systems.
• Manage stakeholders and vendors, building trust and driving consensus on technical decisions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• An extensive data, analytics, or AI background with multiple years in leadership and/or Product Owner roles.
• SQL and/or cloud platform experience (e.g., Databricks); understanding of AI technologies.
• Expertise in data architecture, modeling, integration, and translating technical work into business value.
• Excellent communication in German (C1/C2) and ability to manage senior stakeholders.
• Background in banking, consultancy, or business IT is desirable.
