Senior Java Developer

We are representing our client, one of the world's leading businesses that specialises in creating productivity tools and extensions for the Atlassian ecosystem, particularly for the Confluence collaboration platform. Their mission is to help teams share their knowledge freely, simply, and effectively.

Currently, we are looking for top performers in software development. Ideally, an individual with vast knowledge in Java 21 and Spring Boot with a passion for maintaining and improving high-quality software.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain our successful product that generates websites based on wiki content and is used by enterprise customers with lots of users and data.
• Write and maintain automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Mentor junior developers and share your knowledge in internal talks.
• Contribute to technical reviews of user documentation.
• Utilize technologies and tools like Bitbucket, Docker, Maven, Git, IntelliJ, Java, and Spring.

Basic Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience as a Java Developer
• Vast experience with Java 21, Spring Boot
• Experience with OSGi, Velocity, Hibernate, and REST APIs (preferred)
• Proven track record in a product company
• Experience working in collaborative teams of 5+ developers
• Strong mentorship skills
• Excellent English language skills, German is an advantage
