Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer (Java + Angular) to join an innovative EdTech project for one of our key clients. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful product that’s transforming digital learning experiences for children and educators.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Angular
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, QA, DevOps)
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions
• Ensure code quality and performance through testing and optimization
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial

Required skills:

Backend (Java):

• Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer with a strong technical background
• Proficiency in Java 17+, Spring, and Hibernate
• Strong understanding of Design Patterns and their practical use
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Security, and web services
• Skilled in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with ORM concepts, performance tuning, and Hibernate optimization
• Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools (SLF4J, Log4J)

Frontend:

• Solid experience with Angular (and nice to have React)
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, TypeScript

Database:

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Proficient in SQL, indexing, performance optimization, and normalization

Testing & Build Tools:

• Skilled in unit testing with JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock
• Proficient with Maven

Cloud & DevOps:

• Commercial experience with AWS (beyond EC2 and S3 — e.g., Lambda, RDS, CodePipeline, ECS/EKS)
• Understanding of microservices and serverless architectures (EventBus, SOA)
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (ECS/EKS)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (AWS CDK, Terraform)

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Results-driven mindset, able to work independently in a remote setup
• Very good command of English (spoken and written)
• Native or bilingual Polish
