Mechanical Design Engineer

For one of key clients we are seeking several Mechanical Design Engineers for permanent positions based in Norway and Denmark on DC projects.

About the Role

We are seeking two experienced Senior Mechanical Designers to join our growing engineering team—one based in Denmark and one in Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for leading mechanical design activities for large-scale data center projects, ensuring full compliance with local standards and driving high-quality design execution from concept through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design for data center projects, including HVAC, cooling systems, piping, and equipment layouts.
• Ensure all designs comply with local regulations, standards, and permitting requirements in Denmark or Norway.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project managers, and external stakeholders.
• Review, validate, and optimize design documents, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Support project planning, risk assessments, and design coordination activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to design presentations and project documentation.

Must-Have Requirements

• Located in Denmark or Norway (residency required).
• Certified or with strong knowledge of local design requirements and standards.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working on data center projects.
• Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems design, modeling tools, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work on a permanent, full-time basis.
