Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon

Our company is actively seeking a skilled Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our esteemed team. As an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the mouth, jaw, and facial structures. This includes complex surgical procedures such as tooth extractions, dental implants, corrective jaw surgery, and treatment for facial trauma.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess patients through comprehensive clinical examinations and diagnostic imaging
• Create and implement personalized surgical treatment plans based on individual patient needs
• Perform a variety of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
• Manage patient care pre-operatively and post-operatively to ensure successful recovery
• Work collaboratively with referring dentists, orthodontists, and specialists for coordinated patient care
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, risks, and post-surgical care
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to healthcare regulations and standards
  
  

Requirements

• D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or D.M.D. (Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry) from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
• Active board certification and state licensure
• At least 5 years of post-residency clinical experience
• Proven skills in various surgical procedures relevant to the specialty
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills focused on patient interactions
