Network Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment.
• Plan, design, and support high-performance transport and access networks
• Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for improvement
• Administer and support Linux and Windows back-office systems.
• Participate in an on-call engineering rotation to maintain network reliability
• Collaborate with provisioning and technical support teams to enable seamless service delivery
• Document network changes, standards, and implementation plans
• Work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment while promoting knowledge-sharing

Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Calix networking platforms
• Practical understanding of routing & switching (BGP, OSPF), PON, and fiber-network configurations
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems and basic scripting methods
• Knowledge of outside plant and deployment consideration.
• Strong project coordination, documentation, and communication skills
