Role: Product Owner
Rate: £460 p/d (Via Umbrella)
Location: London HQ (Z1) – 4 days p/w on site
Duration: 6 months – extensions likely

We require a Product Owner to manage the product development process for Product(s) within our portfolio and be responsible for gathering feature requests, roadmap planning, scheduling releases and co-ordinating sprints. They work closely with cross-functional teams, identify user needs and ensure our products meet customer expectations.
Experience Required:
- Experience within the TV/Broadcasting industry.
- Experience with product backlogs, prioritisation, engaging stakeholders and owning the product development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of broadcast media systems, such as channel, content, rights, asset and subscriber management systems, that support the content management lifecycle for linear TV, VOD and OTT services.
- Some experience with media asset management systems, encoding and transcoding systems, distribution systems and playout systems for digital media for television, web and mobile platforms.
- Experience with BeBanjo/MediaGenix and SDBI is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Product Owner managing the product development process for Product(s) within the International Portfolio
- Co-ordinate sprint planning for your products with the Product Manager, balancing priorities alongside other Product Owners in the team
- Own the roadmap for your products, ensuring stakeholders are regularly updated
- Lead and own solution design and implementation for new or enhanced features in the International Product portfolio
- Collaborate alongside other Product and Delivery team members, contributing to project planning and estimation relating to new product development projects
- Ensure that best practice is always upkept for project/product documentation, including ensuring quality of information provided to Software Engineering
- Responsible for providing a clearly prioritised requirements backlog to Software Engineering based on business need
- Responsible for production and maintenance of documentation about our products and solutions that makes it easy for users and support to understand how they interact and troubleshoot
- Oversee and ensure effective prioritisation of all requested development work, working collaboratively with other Integration and Delivery and Media Technology team members to ensure business needs are met
- Work closely with colleagues from our Enterprise Product team, to understand global goals and ensure international alignment
- Educate teams in International Media Operations and externally in the wider business on new products or features post project implementation
- Provide effective liaison between technical and non-technical audiences, both internal and 3rd parties
